I am a lifelong Wisconsinite, and proud of it! I Grew up in SE WI, moved to Central WI, Western WI, now SW WI. As for political party, take your pick... Independent - OR - Conservative Dem - OR - Liberal Repub - could I be a progressive? I'm not sure yet. I was raised in a deeply democratic home. I am 45 yrs. old, 3rd generation Hungarian, 4th generation Dane, I went to college, paid for by my parents. I am a wife of 25 yrs., Mother of 3, daughter, 25; two sons, 22 & 16; (the oldest 2 are paying off their own student loans). I have always been a stay at home mom, a home schooler, my husband is blue collar. We lived through one plant closing and transfered to another less than a year ago after working at the fist plant for 16 yrs. and raising our family there, and now we are seeing this plant beginning the same steps as the first. I am a 3x kidney transplant recipient (my first in 1982). I support national health care, I am and have always been against going to war in Iraq. I am against gun control, I am against abortion, but for women's rights and a woman's right to choose in the first trimester, (can I do that?) I also believe marriage is between a man and a women, even though I have had good friends who are gay, and I believe in the death penalty. Oh yeah and I really dislike Senator Clinton, and do not see me EVER voting for her even if she is the democratic candidate. I am extremely disappointed that the first woman running for the Office of President in our country is someone I cannot trust anymore than I can trust Mr. Bush or Mr. Chaney. See why I find myself so hard to define by one party...
